Davis County Pride is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supporting the LGBTQ+ community and allies of Davis County, Utah.
Each year we organize one of Utah's largest PRIDE Festivals! The Davis County Pride Festival features more than 120 vendors/exhibitors, numerous entertainers, food trucks, and much more! Our festival is free to the public and happens in early May each year unofficially kicking off 'Pride Season' for all of Utah.
In addition to the festival, Davis County Pride hosts or supports a number of events or activities that share the vision of lifting, giving voice, and increasing visibility of marginalized individuals of Davis County.
Spencer Sanders is a deeply introspective folk‑pop singer-songwriter based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Known for blending emotive lyricism with genre-spanning soundscapes—from Americana to chamber pop and soft rock—Spencer channels his experience as a queer man living with bipolar disorder into songs both personal and universally resonant. Spencer Sanders is an emerging Utah artist whose music stands out for its emotional authenticity, literary depth, and genre‑blurring nuance. Whether you’re looking for deeply confessional songwriting or cinematic folk-pop with heart, he delivers.
Davis County Pride is pleased to present "The Road to Heal" August 31, 7:00PM in Syracuse, Utah. The concert will take place in the garden of the Mewing residence (exact address, parking instructions, and more will be shared with ticket holders).
A limited number of tickets will be 10% off with the promocode "EARLYBIRD"
After five years of dedicated service to the community as Board Chair & Executive Director, Genevra Prothero has stepped into a new role as an Advisory Council Member with Davis County Pride. We’re incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and passion Genevra has brought to our mission – as founder of Davis County Pride, we would not be here without her. We are thrilled she will continue to offer her insight and support in this new advisory capacity.
We’re also excited to announce that Jake Boyle has been elected to serve as the Chair & Executive Director of Davis County Pride. Jake brings a deep commitment to inclusion, visibility, and community building, and we look forward to this next chapter of growth and impact under his leadership.
We are equally excited to announce the formation of a Trans Pride & Joy committee that will be led by Daniela Wolfe with a focus on representation and support for the transgender community within Davis County.
We look forward to the next five years with great anticipation and excitement. We appreciate the hard work and contributions of all our board members past and present.
With PRIDE,
Jake Boyle

From sign-up to tear-down, vendors described their experience as smooth, inclusive, and joyful. Many praised the simple registration process, clear communication, and positive energy from the Davis County Pride team. We were especially proud to hear how many felt cared for on the day of the event.
“I felt so taken care of as a vendor. Jake was amazing. Everything from registration to the final breakdown went smoothly.”
“It wasn’t just a market - it was an experience.”
Vendors loved the buzz leading up to Pride, especially the colorful social media posts and vendor spotlights. That said, we heard a few consistent suggestions for next year:
Start promotion earlier
Tag vendors more consistently
Use more local artists in our graphics
We hear you—and we’re on it.
The majority of vendors said check-in was easy and volunteers were fantastic. Still, we heard some helpful feedback about booth assignments, signage, and layout:
“It felt like there wasn’t any rhyme or reason to the layout of the booths… like a maze.”
“The spray-painted booth numbers were hard to find. Even just a few flags would have helped!”
We’ll be addressing these issues in 2026 with a redesigned map, better signage, and figure out ways to improve foot traffic for everyone.
Our volunteers showed up in a big way—and vendors noticed. From helping with set-up to offering bathroom breaks, the feedback was full of appreciation:
“You could always see a board member floating around, and volunteers were never hard to find. Everyone WAS FANTASTIC.”
“It made it feel like a community effort.”
Beyond logistics, vendors talked about the vibe of the event—how safe, festive, and family-friendly it felt. Many said it was one of the most inclusive and affirming events they’ve ever attended.
“It felt like a well-loved community space—and that means everything.”
“Everyone was happy, dancing, feeling safe.”
While most of the feedback was glowing, we’re not ignoring the harder comments. A few vendors reported frustrating interactions and booth space issues. That feedback is being taken seriously, and we’re committed to doing better.
Here are the Top 5 Improvements we’re prioritizing for 2026:
Rework layout to improve vendor visibility and flow
Use clearer signage and eliminate paint-only booth numbers
Improve vendor check-in instructions and parking signs
Build a more equitable social media promotion plan
Better volunteer training on logistics, safety, and conflict resolution
We’re already planning new ways to streamline setup, increase foot traffic, and give every vendor the visibility and support they deserve. You help make Davis County Pride what it is - and we’re grateful for your voice, your ideas, and your energy.
